That sale was an infill home that was over 2400 square feet in size.  Meanwhile, at the other end of the price range, the most affordable home in Hazeldean this year sold for $308,000.  That sale was of a small 700 square foot home.   On average it is taking 35 days to sell a home in Hazeldean, that is much quicker than the Edmonton average days on market in 2014 of 38 days year to date.  Since 2005, property values in Hazeldean have appreciated by a strong 105%.  This is similar to other Mill Creek Ravine area neighbourhoods that have also seen strong property value appreciation.    
     Having a look at the duplexe market in Hazeldean, the average sold price for a duplex in 2014 has reached $487,833.  Again, similar to other Mill Creek Ravine neighbourhoods, there have been a growing number of infill duplexes being built in Hazeldean recently.  These newly built duplexes have really brought the average sale price up for a duplex in Hazeldean.
     In the condo market, the average selling price for a condo is $417,500 with an average time to sell a condo in Hazeldean of 33 days in 2014.  The condominium complexes that have had units sell in them in are duplex style homes in small 2 or 3 unit complexes.
